ART T SHOW 2003: 1/6 PROJECT

What is ART T SHOW?

From the lo-end / political / punk rock DIY designs to the high-end artistic and fashionable designs, Zakka has assembled the show that will accept all areas of creativity.* We exhibit local designers from New York City to anywhere else in the world. This exhibition also allows the participants to sell their products using Zakka as a platform for exposure. Here are a few guidelines and rules to follow before sending in entries.

What is 1/6 PROJECT?

1/6 PROJECT is the new way to display T-shirt with using 1/6 action figures as a mannequins.
The figure culture is getting mature subject by mixing with the movement of street culture and toys, like Michael Lau who is well known as the pioneer in the Hong Kong art figure scene. So ZAKKA is representing new style of figure culture influenced by Fashion Design scene as the next step.

How to submit your design?

All entry must follow the process which is same as the spec of last year.

-Download this 12" x 12" pdf entry form.
-Fill out each of the categories listed on the form.
-This form must accompany all designs.
-One form for each design.
-Print out the form.
-Participant may enter as many times as they want.
-Send or personally deliver all entries including T-shirts to:

Though we recommend that all t shirts accompany the forms, we are also accepting submissions without the shirts. The shirts can be printed on request, depending on demand.

Presentation means everything. Please print out all submissions in its original size on quality paper.

All entries will then be displayed within a 12"x12" sleeve, resembling a record cover.

Customers will be able to thumb through different designs from these sleeves. The design will then be taken up to the counter for purchase or if the design is not available, it can be ordered.

There is no deadline for submissions, the show will continue till the end of year.

There will be a 40% commission charge for all sales.
